Explanation

FinTechs can leverage the FedWire Payment Initiated webhook to receive notifications when an outbound FedWire payment requested by the FinTech has been initiated and delivered to the Federal Reserve for processing, providing early visibility into high-value wire transfers before settlement and deposit.

When it occurs

This webhook fires when a user or system initiates a Fedwire payment and it is submitted for processing through the Fedwire network.
