Authorized Users

An authorized user on a bank account is someone granted permission by the account owner to access and perform certain transactions without being a joint owner. They can typically view balances, withdraw funds, transfer money, write checks, and stop payments, but they don't own the account or its assets. Authorized users can be added or removed from an account.

📘

Note:

Support for managing multiple approvals of money movement must be managed by the digital application layer. Authorized Users only allows you to create the user that has access to the account with orchestration being handled by the digital application layer.
