The platform section of the API portal includes additional API and platform sections that typically span the individual Customer, Account, Money Movement, and Card API sections.

Usage of the APIs may be driven by our bank’s programs or to support our Interlace system and Interlace Console user interface.

Infinant has a superset of APIs to support our Interlace Console that we do not expose to bank partners for use in their digital applications. As the needs arises to expose an API to support a digital application, Infinant will enable the Api within the Platform API section.

Webhooks are a method used to enable real-time communication between different applications. In the context of Banking as a Service (BaaS), webhooks facilitate the instant transfer of information regarding specific events, allowing integrated services to react promptly without the need for constant polling.

Interlace supports the ability to have the system orchestrate the customer and account onboarding process by passing an application object via the coarse-grained application API. The API allows the digital application to pass customer information, product attributes, as well as account parameters to Interlace with Interlace performing the needed orchestration of APIs to complete the onboarding process. For certain use cases, this reduces the effort needed by the digital application team – by allowing them to call a single API versus individual APIs within their onboarding screen flow.
